Bad News for Marquez and Charlotte Thursday, November 4th , 2049 Things have gotten worse for Jose Marquez of the Charlotte Knights. The 35-year-old shortstop will not be back as soon as originally expected. Marquez is undergoing treatment for a broken bone in the elbow, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 9 months. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Jose tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." Jose Marquez is expected to undergo surgery in Ft. Mill(South Carolina) tomorrow. This season Marquez is hitting .205 with 1 home run. |
