The 20-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the American League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .333 average (7-for-21) with 4 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. To date this season Velasco Jr. is hitting .234 with 11 home runs. |
