Ahearne Connects for 3 Homers for Capitals Thursday, October 4th , 2046 Raghnall Ahearne went on a hitting rampage at Ballpark of Victoria today and got membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He walloped three into the stands to pace the Capitals to a 19-1 victory over the Joplin Blasters. The Victoria center fielder collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 3 runs. "I don't know, you never know when things are going to fall into place," he told the press after his big game. "Today, I didn't have any special insight or adjustment, I just happened to get three pitches I was ready for."
