Colt .45's Not Competitive in 12-0 Loss to Colorado Thursday, October 4th , 2046 Glenn Lowther of the Colorado Avalanche humiliated the Houston Colt .45's at Denver Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Houston manager Gregory Guerrero, after the game. Lowther whiffed 11 and walked 0 in the 12-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Lowther said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." This year Lowther has compiled a 13-1 record with a 1.71 ERA. |
