The Niagara Falls Phantoms starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 09/01/2046 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. The team will likely place Miyahara on the injured list today. This year Miyahara has worked 121 innings with 154 strikeouts en route to a 6-9 record and a 5.73 ERA. |
