Rystrom Pitches Majors to 5-0 Win Thursday, July 26th , 2046 In an outstanding outing, London Majors starter Bryan Rystrom tamed the Detroit Red Wings with a 5-hit shutout at Mike Ilitch Memorial Field today. The London hurler went the distance, finishing with 11 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 5-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Detroit manager Lee Alonzo. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." So far this season Rystrom has compiled a 8-2 record with a 4.12 ERA. |
