Red Wings Win Quarter-Finals Saturday, October 29th , 2050 The Detroit Red Wings have eliminated the New Jersey Devils and are off to the Semi-Finals. Detroit won the final game by a 4-2 score and thus clinched the series 4-1. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Joe Strachan, who was named series MVP. For the series, Strachan hit .471 with a .550 on-base percentage. He drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Semi-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
