					| | Roth Slams 3 Homers for Goldeyes Friday, October 7th , 2050
Ben Roth went on an explosive hitting spree against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Winnipeg International Baseball & Gold Complex today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Winnipeg Goldeyes to the 5-4 win.

The left fielder finished 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI.

"It was just one of those days," Roth said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."

Southern Maryland skipper Seth Pascarella said Roth was "locked-in."

"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."

Ben Roth hit a solo-shot off Rogelio Chavez in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Rogelio Chavez in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Kadidu Kiprotich in the 8th.
