Gonzales Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, September 28th , 2050 Detroit Red Wings center fielder Chris Gonzales wielded a big stick today against the Trois-Riveres Aigles and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 6-4. Gonzales helped tame Trois-Riveres with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Chris Gonzales tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jose Hinojosa in the 10th. Thus far this year Gonzales is hitting .264 with 19 home runs, 39 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
