Porter Tosses 12-0 Shutout Saturday, September 17th , 2050 Calgary's Edwin Porter brought his best stuff to Oregon Baseball Complex today, shutting down and shutting out the Portland Angels 12-0. He racked up 14 strikeouts, surrendered 2 hits and issued no walks on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Portland manager Estevenson Encarnacion said later. "Calgary could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted." For the season Porter has compiled a 8-3 record with a 1.76 ERA. |
