Roswell Draws Blanks Against Oetting Thursday, September 8th , 2050 Robbie Oetting kept the Roswell Invaders hitters from doing any damage at Area 51 today. Roswell could only muster 4 hits and take 1 walk against the right-handed Oetting, who controlled them throughout the game as Miami Beach took the contest, 5-0. Oetting added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Oetting told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." This season Oetting has worked 111.1 innings with 90 strikeouts en route to a 6-7 record and a 4.37 ERA. |
