Amarillo's Baratta Collects August Batting Honor Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Lucio Baratta may be much younger than other hitters in the Western League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old Amarillo first baseman hit .267 with 13 home runs, 36 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This year Baratta has hit at a .285 clip with 84 RBIs, 43 home runs and 66 runs scored. |
