Kok Spectacular in 1-0 Win Friday, July 22nd , 2050 It wasn't easy but Anthon Kok made it look that way. Kok silenced the Oakland Oaks, 1-0, in a Portland Angels triumph at Oregon Baseball Complex today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Kok said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 3 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." |
