 A battle-tested Sean Zielinski declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 36-year-old San Francisco second baseman collected the National League Player of the Week Award.
 
 He wrapped up the week with a .545 average, 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
 
 This season Zielinski has delivered 153 hits in 506 at-bats for a .302 average with 37 home runs. He is getting on base at a .370 clip and his totals also include 94 RBIs and 85 runs scored. This year Zielinski has played in 130 games.
