Jenkins Injured, Day-to-Day Sunday, September 11th , 2050 During today's game against the California Angels, Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jonathan Jenkins suffered a knee contusion while colliding with a player at a base. Team doctors report that the injury is minor and day-to-day and that Jenkins should be back in the lineup in 2 weeks. So far on the season Jenkins is hitting .249 with 14 home runs, 36 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 79 hits and played in 94 games. |
