Rojas Pitches 6-0 Shutout for Oakland Sunday, September 4th , 2050 In an outstanding outing, Oakland Athletics starter Franklin Rojas tamed the Houston Astros with a 5-hit shutout at Minute Maid Park today. The Oakland hurler went the distance, finishing with 6 strikeouts and no walks in the 6-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Houston manager Dave DaSilva. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
