Toronto Beats Minnesota as Harted Throws 7-0 Shutout Saturday, September 3rd , 2050 In an outstanding mound performance, Toronto Blue Jays starter Hoof Harted fired a complete-game shutout against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field today. Harted was the key to the Blue Jays's 7-0 win. The 27-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." In 27 starts this year Harted has crafted a 17-3 record and a 2.29 ERA.
