Vasquez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, October 22nd , 2050 Ogden second baseman Tony Vasquez keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Lindquist Field today. The Raptors took the 4-3 victory over the San Diego (APP) Padres. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Vasquez said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Tony Vasquez grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In 50 games this season Vasquez has batted at a .372 pace with 84 hits and 3 home runs. |
