					| | Martin Tosses 10-0 Shutout Friday, September 23rd , 2050
It was not a good day at the plate for the Minnesota (NYP) Twins. They came up empty when it mattered against Spokane Indians right-hander Tim Martin, who scattered 4 hits across 9 innings and held the Twins scoreless.

"We had 4 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Minnesota (NYP) manager Steve Jeffers said later.

Martin chalked up 18 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 10-0 Indians win.

This year Martin has collected no saves in 4 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 19-2 won-lost mark with a 1.37 ERA and fanned 276 batters in 197.2 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .129 clip in 2050.
