The Batavia catcher stepped into the batter's box 6 times against West Virginia and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. Mario Cota doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.
