Beloit Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 17th , 2050 The Beloit Snappers will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2050 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Beloit was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Snappers have made the playoffs 16 times in their 35 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2046. In the last 10 seasons, the Snappers have missed the playoffs 6 times. Beloit last won the World Series in 2033. |
