Injury Derails Season for Montgomery Tuesday, September 13th , 2050 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Hagerstown's Mike Montgomery to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/10/2050 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Montgomery said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Montgomery has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. So far this year Montgomery has delivered 1 save. In 20 relief appearances he has 39 strikeouts in 30.1 innings with a 4.15 ERA and 2 wins and 1 loss. |
