					|   | Matsumoto Rips Lexington for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 8th , 2050
 Minoru Matsumoto had an answer for everything the Lexington Legends threw at him today at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.  The Delmarva first baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Shorebirds on top, 5-1.
 
 Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Matsumoto said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
 
 Minoru Matsumoto hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
 
 Matsumoto has a .227 average and a .275 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 52 hits, 2 home runs and driven in 16 runs.
