Lake Elsinore Sweeps into the Division Series Thursday, January 20th , 2050 Eric McMillian said he expected the Round 1 to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Lake Elsinore Storm encountered little resistance in sweeping the Brevard County Manatees, to advance to the Division Series. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said McMillian. Lake Elsinore won the final game by a 13-8 count and were led in the series by McMillian, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .625 with 1 home runs. He also drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
