Mississippi's Holifield Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, October 9th , 2050 Playoff hopes of Braves player Dennis Holifield have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered forearm inflammation throwing a pitch in today's game against Springfield Cardinals. Holifield is expected to miss up to 6 weeks, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. |
