Injury Derails Season for Wood Thursday, August 11th , 2050 "Not what I wanted to hear," said San Antonio's Chris Wood to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/10/2050 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Wood said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Wood has been out of action since he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. This year Wood has a 5-12 record and a 3.21 ERA. |
