Columbus Manager Fobbs Named Top Skipper in AL Sunday, November 13th , 2050 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Khalil Fobbs, he seems to have taken the Columbus Clippers to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the American League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Fobbs led Columbus to a first place finish in the American League Central Division. The Clippers ended up with a 90-63 record. |
