Baez Hurls Gwinnett to Shutout Win Friday, September 16th , 2050 Eduardo Baez spun his magic in a 12-0 shutout victory at Coolray Field today, leading the Gwinnett Braves to victory, 12-0 over the New Orleans Zephyrs. The Gwinnett pitcher put quite a spell on New Orleans in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling 1 walk and 13 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," Baez said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." This season Baez has 12 wins and 10 losses and a 3.24 ERA. |
