AL Selects Skingle June's Best Starter Friday, July 1st , 2050 In June, Harrison Skingle tore through the American League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Charlotte starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 0.81 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 33.1 innings he collected 17 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .183 average. Up to now Skingle has compiled an ERA of 2.54 with a 6-3 mark over 13 starts. He has 44 strikeouts in 92 innings and has held opponents to a .243 batting average. |
