ORI Star of the Week Chosen Monday, December 6th , 2049 Jiao-long Zhào is respected by most University of Florida Gators fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Division 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .533 average (8-for-15) with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Zhào is swinging the bat at a .244 rate with 70 hits in 287 at-bats. To date he has hit 12 home runs, scored 37 runs and driven in 29. |
