WL Names Toros Diaz Winner Monday, June 21st , 2049 The Western League made it official today: Jose Diaz is the Player of the Week. He really stood out on the diamond this week with a .600 average to take home the award. The Tijuana first baseman went 9-for-15, drove in 13 runs, scored 8 times and hit 6 home runs. Thus far this year Diaz is hitting .298 with 12 home runs, 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
