Marlins Cruise to World Series with Sweep Sunday, November 7th , 2049 The Miami Beach Marlins are on to the World Series after a convincing series win over the Kelowna Heat. Miami Beach wrapped up the series sweep with a 4-1 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Melvin Nava, who was named series MVP. For the series, Nava hit .438 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-Finals finishes. |
