Niagara Falls Advances to Quarter-Finals Thursday, October 21st , 2049 By a score of 11-2, the Niagara Falls Phantoms have sealed a victory in the Round 1 over the Paris Cubs. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said third baseman Ryan Book of the Phantoms, who was named the series MVP. "The Cubs knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Niagara Falls will come in the Quarter-Finals, after winning this series 4-2. The Quarter-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
