Goldeyes Advance to Quarter-Finals Wednesday, October 20th , 2049 After their 7-6 win today over the London Majors, the Winnipeg Goldeyes will advance to the Quarter-Finals. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to London designated hitter Tom Bergman. Bergman told a reporter from the London Daily News that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the World Series Winnipeg won the series 4-1. The Quarter-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
