Invaders, Beltman Stonewall Joplin, 4-0 Saturday, October 9th , 2049 17-year-old Roswell Invaders pitcher Ulbert Beltman had a strong outing against the Joplin Blasters at Area 51 today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 6 in the 4-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 3 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. This year Beltman has no saves. In 1 relief appearance he has tossed 167.1 innings, fanned 168 and given up 58 walks with a 5-15 record. The Roswell reliever has recorded a 5.38 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .247 when he is on the mound. |
