					| | Reds Wins, 2-0, as Nakagawa Mystifies Windy City Sunday, October 3rd , 2049
It wasn't easy but the Columbus Reds made it look that way.

Starter Toyohiro Nakagawa shut out the Windy City ThunderBolts despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Columbus Reds cruised to victory, 2-0. Nakagawa allowed only 4 hits and rang up 14 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

His record for the year is 6-8 in 13 starts and Nakagawa has a 3.19 ERA.
