Twiss Hittin' on All Cylinders Thursday, September 30th , 2049 Tyler Twiss of the Colorado Avalanche had an outstanding game against the Blasters. His 6-hit day included a cycle and 7 runs batted in as Colorado picked up a 12-1 victory at Joplin Baseball Complex. "My bat felt great, I was seeing the ball well and I found some gaps," he said. "As a hitter, it's all you can ask for." Tyler Twiss doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Kevin Lea in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Lea in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Carlos Castillo in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this year Twiss has hit .193 with 14 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
