Dvision 1 Picks Top Performer Monday, December 20th , 2049 Edgar Fernandez is respected by most Vanderbilt University Commodores fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Dvision 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .524 average (11-for-21) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. So far this year, Fernandez is batting .339 with 30 home runs and 83 RBIs. |
