Worth Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Saturday, December 4th , 2049 Neil Worth of the Rice University Owls tagged 3 hits in today's 19-11 loss to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks at Reckling Park to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Neil Worth flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Worth is currently hitting at a .296 pace with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
