San Diego (WIN) Win Divisional Series Wednesday, January 27th , 2049 Tomas Segarra was a standout performer in the Divisional Series, but unfortunately the same couldn't be said for the rest of the Oakland (WIN) Athletics. The San Diego (WIN) Padres beat Segarra's Athletics 7-6 at Peoria Sports Complex tonight, to capture the series 3-1. Despite the series loss, Segarra was named MVP. "It's cold comfort," he said solemnly when asked about the award. "I'd certainly rather be in San Diego (WIN)'s position than mine." The League Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes. |
