Cincinnati (WIN) Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Thursday, January 21st , 2049 The Cincinnati (WIN) Reds are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Round 1 triumph. Cincinnati (WIN) downed the Baltimore (WIN) Orioles, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-0 win tonight at Ed Smith Stadium wrapping up the series 2-1. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Jamie Spangenberg, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Spangenberg put up a .500 with a .583 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 3 runs and scored 4 runs himself. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
