Giants Chavez and Reds Moffat Suspended for Fight Tuesday, December 29th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's San Francisco (WIN)-Cincinnati (WIN) contest at Scottsdale Stadium. The Giants Alberto Chavez and the Reds Matt Moffat will have to sit out 5 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In 14 games this season Chavez has batted at a .400 pace with 12 hits and 3 home runs. Over the season Moffat has thrown 36.1 innings and dished out 40 strikeouts with a 3-1 mark and a 3.47 ERA. |
