Segarra Day-to-Day with Injury Wednesday, December 22nd , 2049 Athletics center fielder Tomas Segarra was injured while stealing a base against the Minnesota (WIN) Twins. The injury was diagnosed as a strained quad. The Oakland (WIN) standout is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. He could be out about 2-3 weeks. This year Segarra has collected a .275 batting average to date with 19 hits in 69 at-bats, 4 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 10 times. He has played in 18 games. |
