Texas (APP) Sweeps into the Division Series Sunday, October 31st , 2049 The Texas (APP) Rangers proved to be too much to handle for the Detroit (APP) Tigers in the Wildcards Series, and a sweep was the end result. Texas (APP) punched its ticket to the Division Series on the strength of a 5-2 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 4-0. Texas (APP) center fielder Robert Topete, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Detroit (APP) pitching to the tune of a .500 average, with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
