3 Home Runs for Maczko Friday, October 22nd , 2049 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Raptors-Rockies game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Ogden first baseman Adam Maczko thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Ogden to a 15-3 win over Grand Junction. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Maczko said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Maczko was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 runs batted in. Adam Maczko hit a two-run home run off Julio Marquez in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Aaron O'Brien in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Travis Palmisano in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Maczko is hitting at a .416 mark this season. His stats show 67 home runs, 188 RBIs and 191 runs scored. He has played 128 games for the Raptors. |
