Chairez Pounds 3 HR Against Mustangs Thursday, October 14th , 2049 Helena Brewers bombardier Alex Chairez set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 18-3 win over the Billings Mustangs today. "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Chairez told writers in the postgame press room. Alex Chairez hit a three-run home run off Keiji Shimomura in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jeff Buchanan in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Josh Glass in the 9th. Thus far this year Chairez is batting .296 with 21 home runs, 67 RBIs and 64 runs scored. |
