Season Over for Sellick Sunday, October 3rd , 2049 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Greeneville's Joe Sellick to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 10/01/2049 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Sellick said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Sellick has been out of action since he suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. This season Sellick is 4-and-1 with 6 saves and a 3.61 ERA. He has given up 56 hits in 57.1 innings with 57 strikeouts. |
