Kuai Smacks 5 Hits for Pirates Saturday, October 2nd , 2049 Sun-wei Kuai had an answer for everything the Philadelphia (APP) Phillies threw at him today at Philadelphia Phillies Complex. The Bristol left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Pirates on top, 26-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Kuai said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Sun-wei Kuai singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marc Haigler in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Rüdiger Stritter in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Robert Chauvel in the 7th and walked in the 8th. So far this year Kuai has 27 home runs and a .254 batting average. |
