Tigers LF Dabney Gets the Cycle Tuesday, September 21st , 2049 Finishing with 5 hits is a great day for any player, but Nate Dabney made it even more special by hitting for the cycle at Detroit Tigers Complex today. Dabney had 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run for the Detroit (APP) Tigers and led them to a 19-3 decision over the Burlington Royals. The left fielder also finished with 3 runs scored and 6 runs batted in. "Awesome," Dabney said when asked how the accomplishment felt. Nate Dabney walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Esteban Acuna in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. So far this season Dabney is batting .256 with 30 home runs. |
