Sakurai drilled 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collecting 1 RBI and scoring 3 runs to capture the win for Milwaukee (NYP). "I was fortunate to see some good pitches and I was fortunate to be able to make the most of them," he said later. "It was a good day for us." Fumito Sakurai hit a solo-shot off Mike Pierce in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, struck out in the 9th and tripled in the 11th. Currently Sakurai has 13 home runs and a .319 batting average. |
